Protesters continue to occupy the Hong Kong Airport, and there are fears of further violence after protesters and police clashed earlier today. Get the latest details in our LIVE PROTEST COVERAGE.
On Tuesday, for the second straight day, Hong Kong Airport was essentially shut down by large crowds of protesters demonstrating in the airport. Police recently entered the airport and clashes with protesters took place both inside and outside the airport. Protesters still remain in the airport, and it is unclear whether police will try to clear the airport tonight.
The airport protesters have been demonstrating against police violence toward protesters as well as Beijing's increasing influence in Hong Kong, and are also calling for democratic reforms.
