Supporters of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) protested outside the House of Commons in London on Thursday as parliament voted on whether to seek an extension of Article 50, delaying Brexit.

Footage shows protesters with signs saying “Just Leave.”

“If Parliament asks for an extension of Article 50, then it will be the final betrayal of this whole sorry story, and we’ll know that they’ve got no intention whatsoever of honouring their pledge,” said UKIP leader Gerard Batten.

Parliament voted against the possibility of leaving without a deal on Wednesday, but the government has been unable to find a deal which would satisfy the House and EU negotiators.

As the Brexit deadline of March 29 approached, the House voted on Thursday to seek an extension until June 30th.
